Aria - Salt Lake City, Utah
Well, when you have two little girls born a week apart, you end up bombarding your own blog for a couple of days! When we started thinking about having kids, never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that we would have three girls. I always thought it would be boys, boys, boys and I was perfectly content with that plan. Little did I know how different God's plan was from my own. And how absolutely terrified I was when our first child was born and the doctor said, "It's a girl!" I had no idea what to think, what to feel, but I knew I was supposed to feel something - and I knew that "terrified" was not it....yet, that's all I could feel. But at this one's birth, I was so absolutely thrilled to be bringing a third little girl into the world. I could already imagine her playing with her sisters, getting everything she wants because she is so loved and cherished by her older siblings - and I wasn't wrong. Aria, you are a delight. You love to just go with the flow - unless your flow is a little different, then most of the time we go with you. You got lucky that way. You are so quick to laugh and think your big sister, Norah, is just the bees knees - which she loves. I cherish every minute I have with you, because I know it won't be long and you will be running and playing with your sisters and leaving me in the dust. I'm so glad you're ours. And thank you for sleeping a lot. That is the nicest gift you could give this tired mama ;) Also, I'm sorry that smashing a cake was not your favorite thing....
