Oh my...I think the more babies I have sessions with, the more I wish I could just take pictures of babies ALL THE TIME! And this little dude....so freaking adorable! Those blue eyes and blonde hair - the ladies better watch out! ;) It was so much fun spending time with this mama and her little guy - sometimes I think my job just couldn't get any better :) #utah #cedarcity #infantphotographer #6monthphotos #babyphotos #utahphotographer

The Ricely Family - Memory Grove Park, Salt Lake City, Utah
This was such a bittersweet photo shoot...it has been such an incredible blessing to walk with this family during their time here in Salt Lake. We have done so much laughing, some crying, and everything in between. It's heartwrenching to think that they won't be a couple miles away anymore, but rather a couple of states away. But how sweet the time we have had has been! I'm so glad that you brought your family out here, you've shared your love and life with us and we will be

The Tonkin-Nemeth Family - Millcreek, Utah
Oh my goodness. I had such a blast chasing this little firecracker around! I always love meeting families in parks or out in nature, but it's even more fun when I get to join a family in their own home and their own backyard! I feel like those images carry so much more nostalgia when you get to look back - remembering the kids playing on the playset or jumping in puddles. It's just so beautiful! Thank you for having me to your home and treating me like family for an evening!

Abby - Yellow Fork Canyon, Herriman, Utah
I remember my senior portraits....my mom tried to make me a special outfit for my photo shoot - but despite her best efforts, we ended up going to the clothing store instead. I braided my hair the night before, but didn't wash it, so it looked really greasy the day of and we had to put baking soda on it to tone down the shine....but most importantly, I had to have my horse. He was the most important thing to me and the most iconic part of my middle and high school years. Ridi

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Gibb! Tooele, Utah
One of my favorite moments this year happened a couple weeks ago. I got a call to say that my good friend had finally proposed to his fantastic girlfriend! I was over the moon excited. Not only that, but she told me they were going to be married in less than two weeks!! AHH!
It was my absolute pleasure to be there as a witness of their union, and to be privileged to take their photos of their awesome day! I couldn't have been happier - and I think they were just a little h

I love spring. I'm from Michigan, Spring was always the most anticipated season...at least until you got to summer (that brief fleeting moment where the sun comes out and you can swim before it starts raining again...in August.) However, being in Utah, I think Spring is now officially my favorite season. The colors, the flowers, the mild temperatures (since you hibernate during Winter and then hibernate in the air conditioning when Summer officially sets in out here....) but

The Laborda Family - Temple Quarry Trail, Salt Lake City, Utah
There is going to come a day, I swear, where my husband won't let me do photography anymore because I make too many friends. This shoot was no exception! I love getting new clients, well, because what business owner doesn't like new clients? But mostly because I just love meeting new people! This family was so fun and full of energy - what a great afternoon! Engaging with their fabulous kiddos and getting to know them was the highlight of my day! Thank you guys for inviting m

John & Morgan - Big Cottonwood Canyon, Salt Lake City, UT
There is nothing more fun to me than spending an evening in the mountains with such an enjoyable couple :) Watching these two together is the most refreshing thing for someone who has been married for a few years. It makes you remember the joy and the butterflies and the excitement of getting to know one another. It reminds you of the joy of early love - before the routine of days together and kids pulling you in different directions. That, of course, is a different kind of j

Mountain Top Proposal, Grandeur Peak, Utah
Something I have always wanted to do is be there in that moment when a man proposes to the woman he loves. I have always hoped that someday I would be asked by some gentleman - who was wise enough to plan ahead and think about such things - to be there when he proposes to his future wife. Many people don't think about that. It's such a beautiful, intimate moment and I think the man is mostly just thinking about the words he will say hoping his voice won't crack due to nervous
